Yes, you have to clear all third parties that appear in any footage that you use. This includes all talent on the screen, the writers and any music.
How much is a screener?
Your first screener will cost you £75* this includes our £50 library/search fee each additional screener will cost £25*.
Do you provide copies for private use?
No, we are a commercial library and do not have the resources to provide this service.
How quickly can you supply the broadcast standard material?
As a general rule we can supply material within a 24-72 hour period.
Do I have to supply you with the time-in and time-out points for the clips I require?
No, we supply you with an on LOAN complete copy of the programme that includes your footage.
Do I need to return the material?
Yes, all material on LOAN must be returned within 7 days, unless otherwise stated, or a penalty fee will apply.
What is your minimum licensing rate?
Our material is licensed per minute or part thereof per episode**
Do you require payment in advance?
Yes, we require payment in full before we supply any material.
How can I make a payment?
You can pay in advance by any of the following methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer or cheque. Please note that paying by credit/debit card is immediate if you are in a rush for the footage, whereas a cheque would need to be cleared.
Do you license footage "in perpetuity"?
No, unless the footage is to be included in a feature film.
Do you license footage for "All media"?
No, unless the footage is to be included in a feature film.

How much will a still cost to reproduce?

What is the length of time for an on screen flash?
Unless otherwise agreed, an image cannot be flashed for longer than 10" at any one time.
Do you provide images for private use?
Yes, please contact a member of the Stills Team for a quotation.
How quickly can you supply a Still?
Stills can be supplied immediately, via email. Initially, these will be low res images.
Do you have a research/service fee?
Yes, this is normally £35
